La Rosa Del Desierto commemorates extraordinary individuals in the El Paso / Ciudad Juárez region.  For the last four years, this award has honored those who play an impactful role in our region through their contributions to the arts, philanthropy, business entrepreneurship, and outstanding medical care fields.  La Rosa Del Desierto host an annual gala founded in 2018 by Yolanda Arriola, founder of Southwest University, Carmen Becerra, founder of Border Heritage, and Fundación Sebastián, where winners will be awarded with a custom sculpture designed by the renowned Mexican sculptor Sebastián.
